Strawberry Picking at Froberg's

Today starts the first day that Froberg's lets you pick your own strawberries. This morning we went down there and picked four pounds of strawberries. Kaden had so much fun carrying the bucket around. He has also enjoyed eating them when we got home today. We plan to go back this week with friends to pick some more.

2nd Night at the Rodeo

We went to see Rascal Flatts at the rodeo last night. We also walked around the Livestock show again and Kaden played in the petting zoo. His feelings were a little hurt when three adult goats knocked him over flat on the ground. He was dirty from head to toe! We dusted off his wranglers and cowboy hat and gave him a big kiss on the cheek and then he was ready to play again. One of the ladies working felt bad when she saw this happen, so she grabbed the baby goat (only a few days old) so he could pet something his own size. We another great time at the rodeo!

Lil' Cowboy at the Rodeo

Last night we went to the rodeo and saw Tim McGraw in concert. Kaden had a blast at the petting zoo and wearing his cowboy gear. He was all decked out wearing his black Wranglers, boots, western belt and belt buckle, and his cowboy hat and shirt. Uncle Hunter and Emily also joined us. Kaden thought it was so fun to "Stomp" in his boots. We have plans to take him two more times before the rodeo ends. :)

Bayou Wildlife Park in Alvin, Texas

Today we went to visit Bayou Wildlife Park for the first time. This place is so neat and we all enjoyed visiting the animals today, plus it is only 20 minutes away from our house. We road a tram around 86 acres of land and looked at over 500 animals. We also fed many of them and they were very up close and personal as you can see in the pictures. :) Kaden had a blast holding a baby goat and feeding all of the animals. They wanted the whole bucket of food, but Kaden wanted to make sure and share with all of the animals so he would just hand them one or two pieces at a time. We will definitely be visiting this place again!
