The first week of Summer Break

The first week of summer break we went to the pool. Kaden enjoyed playing in the water. This weekend Kaden started feeling under the weather and began running fever Saturday afternoon and Sunday. :( Hopefully the doctor will help him feel better on Monday!

Kaden's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Kaden's 2nd Birthday today with family and friends. He had a "Truck" theme this year. We had so much fun today visiting with everyone! :)

Kaden's first time on the boat

He had so much fun today riding in the boat! We took it out to Kemah for a few hours and had lunch. He was a little nervous at first, but as soon as we started going he was smiling from ear to ear!

Brazos Bend Park

We brought Kaden to Brazos Bend Park to visit the alligators and enjoy the beautiful day. Kaden was able to pet a baby alligator (10 months old). He loved looking around in the museum and petting the raccoon (stuffed). While we were walking on a trail we noticed an alligator sitting on the side of the trail. After someone walked by the 11 foot alligator he opened his mouth and just stared at us. I was ready to turn around and run the other way, but my dad kept on walking past him. He had confidence that he would not get us, but I was very nervous about the situation. We walked by him and luckily passed without being his snack! Kaden actually started to get out of his wagon as if we was going to pet this huge alligator. He has a lot less fear than I do!

Splash Pad

Our splashpad just opened in our neighborhood. Kaden loves running around playing in the water. The pool will be open during the week soon, so then I can bring him after school. Summer is around the corner! :)
