Kaden's 2nd Halloween

Kaden was a lot more active this Halloween compared to last year. He loved "Trick or Treating"! When the neighbors put candy in his pumpkin he had more fun pulling it back out and giving it back to them as if it was a game. (He has never tasted candy before....so he does not know what he is missing) Next year I am sure he will want to keep all of his candy. Kaden was a lion this year.

We had a very busy day on Halloween. In the morning we went to visit my school carnival. Kaden had a blast running around with all of the school aged kids. After we left the carnival, we went to Ella's first birthday party (also a costume party). We had hoped Kaden would take a nap on the way home, but he had no interest. He was very excited for Halloween activities. Once we got home my sister came over to visit and "Trick or Treat" with Kaden. When we blocked off our street we let Kaden run free. He had a blast seeing everyone dressed up. He also loved passing out candy to everyone. It was a very fun and exciting night!

MiMi and Pop's Visit

Kaden loves going to the duck pond. MiMi and Pop came to visit and we went to visit the ducks. Kaden also thought it was funny to tease the dogs with bread when we got home from feeding the ducks. Of course Chico and Cali love eating it!

The Natural Museum of Science, Pumpkin Patch, and Kaden had the Flu

We went to the Natural Museum of Science and the pumpkin patch this weekend. Kaden loved looking at all of the pumpkins, in his words, "ball". He even tried to pick up a 10+ pound pumpkins, although it were a little heavy for him. :) At the Natural Museum of Science Kaden saw the dinosaurs and a lot of different animals. He called all of the animals either a duck, kitty, or dogie. Friday night he went to the movies for the first time. We saw Toy Story 3D. Kaden made it through the previews sitting in his own chair. Once the movie began, he crawled into mommy's lap....and fell asleep about 10 minutes into the movie.

Earlier this week Kaden experienced the flu for the first time. He had symptoms for about a day and a half. He did get to stay home from school for three days. He feels much better now and is completely back to his ACTIVE self!
