Wimberly Trip

This weekend we went to Wimberly, Texas and rented a house along the river with the Sallee and Trial family. Kaden had so much fun playing in the river and with Ryan and Jordan. We also had a friend that came with the rent house, Willie the dog, he loved hanging out with us. While Kaden took his nap, Willie slept right next to him and protected him. :) We had a wonderful, relaxing time!

Our Last Week of Summer Break

Kaden and I went to the pool three times this week! He loves playing in the pool and splashpad. Lillian also came over to visit us.

California Trip - When we rented the Jeep

The third day we rented the jeep we drove through Napa and Sanoma area and toured several beautiful vineyards. We stayed in Calistogo that night which was such a neat, small town to visit. The fourth day we drove through small towns like Healdsburg......such a cool little town. Other towns were Jenner and Mendocino that we had the opportunity to visit. We then stayed in Santa Rosa that night. The next day we drove south on highway 1 which was a beautiful view. I couldn't believe the cliffs and how they had now guard rails along the road. It was a wonderful drive though.

California Trip - San Francisco Area

Jason and I went to California for our fifth anniversary. Jason and I spent two days in San Francisco viewing all the touristy areas like Pier 39, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, China Town, Little Italy, In -N-Out Burger, AT&T Park, and riding the Cable Car, etc. We stayed in Union Square which was a perfect location to walk to everything. We enjoyed San Francisco, but two days was a perfect amount of time for us to see everything. The city is only 7 miles by 7 miles so it is really small compared to what I imagined.

Kaden started climbing out of his bed today. I so did not want this day to come. Before today, it was always so easy to get him to sleep each night....not sure how I will get him to sleep with a toddler bed.
